Fastframe offers a wide variety of digital printing and custom imaging services utilising the latest technology and equipment.
What can we print ?
We can print virtually anything as all printing is done from digital images. You can either bring the original image into Fastframe and we can scan it for you (up to A3 size) or we can copy an image from a CD, USB drive or SD card etc. Alternatively you can upload images by using the widget on the Contact Us page.
We can print your art work on photo paper or canvas on our Epson Stylus Pro 9800 printer. The Stylus Pro printer is designed for high-end-professional graphics where quality, speed and economy are essential.
Fastframe can print and frame your images of virtually any size up to 44 inches (1,118mm) wide and up to 60 inches (1,524mm) long. With such flexibility, there is no need to crop your images to fit standard sizes.
Our designer will then examine your images on monitors that have been calibrated to match our printer, so that the print will be a true reflection of the original. If necessary we can then recommend any restoration / enhancement.
What type of Media can we print on ?
The Stylus Pro printer is very flexible and we can print your images on photo paper, mat board or canvas. Most discount print shops will just use standard photo paper. At Fastframe you can choose to print your image on our high quality photo paper or Metallic paper. Black and white or Vivid colour images look spectacular on metallic paper.
What about printing on Canvas ?
We can also print your image on canvas and wrap the canvas on a wooden frame called a stretcher. Depending on the image and the framing required, there are three methods of Canvas Wrapping. The basic method (Stretched) is where the canvas is attached to the side of the stretcher. If the side of the stretcher is going to be seen, then the canvas can be attached to the back of the stretcher (Museum Wrap). When an image is not going to be framed, we can also digitally extend (Mirror) the image around the side of the stretcher so that it wraps around the side of the stretcher (Gallery Wrap).
